EXHIBITING
A
strong audience on Sunday morning was faced with a Noah's Ark
display on top of the piano - and a collection of all kinds of
animals which were knitted by members for use in the infants'
room. The Minister (Revd Jim Clarke) used these as the basis for
his chat with the children before the little ones left for
Sunday School. The next knitting project will be the Nativity
characters.
CONFIRMATION
The pinnacle of all the events was the rest of
the Sunday morning service when, under the
leadership of our Minister, three of the
church's young ladies were confirmed as full
members. We had a lovely time and the three were
evidently happy. It was emphasised that it was
they themselves who had wished and chosen to
become members and that no pressure had been put
upon them. The three already make valuable
contributions to the work and life of the church
at Rhos y Gad. The audience showed their
approval by clapping heartily to welcome the
girls as members after the Confirmation. The
Communion was then administered by Revd jim
Clarke.
