Where am I?  News 6 13 January 2009

Storïau Duw - brand new book

This is a brand new resource by John Settatree which will help leaders to run a Christian youth group that caters for churched and un-churched teenagers.

The sessions draw on John and Rachel Settatree’s experience leading youth groups and taking sessions in schools with Trobwynt in the Llyn Peninsula. Two of their young people, Garreth Frank and Jake Meadows, also helped with the editing process.

Book 1 provides an introduction to the Christian faith with each session dealing with basic Christian truths:

bullet

'God's Story' - a basic gospel overview providing the big picture of the Bible.

bullet

A series on the life of Moses and the Ten Commandments that seeks to answer the questions - Who is God? Who am I? Why am I here?

bullet

A series on the life of Peter that looks at having a relationship with Jesus.

There are also over 20 games and a number of alternative youth night ideas that have gone down well in various youth groups. The book also includes some sketches that could be used as part of as session or in a church service.
