CYB@7 is an informal and lively
service held at Coleg y Bala at 7pm every Sunday. What makes
CYB@7 different from traditional services is the
freedom and the relaxing atmosphere.
We start with a cake and
cup of tea as everyone arrives and chats. We then worship
through song and prayer, and everyone is free to contribute
as they wish. We give the young people who attend the
service a chance to lead the worship, so that they gain
confidence and improve their leadership skills.

Owain then leads the
study, but everyone is free to contribute and encourage each
other. At the moment, we are working our way through the
book of Philippians, with its challenge of what it means to
live for Christ all the time.
At the end, we split into
adults and young people, so that we can share our personal
experiences and how we've been blessed by the Word, and we
then have an opportunity to pray for each other.
CYB@7 is proving to
be a great blessing to the people and youth of the area, as
everyone is challenged to reflect Christ in their daily
lives. The encouragement that is to be had from being part
of a close-knit Christian community like CYB@7 is
exhilerating and is something that everyone should consider
being associated with.
