On September 27th 2009 half a
million people will be inviting someone special
back to church with them. People lose touch with
church for all sorts of reasons but millions
would come back with an invitation.
On Back to Church Sunday
2008, people in 3,000 churches invited and
welcomed back 37,000 friends.
This year for the first time, the
Presbyterian Church of Wales is taking part in
Back to Church Sunday. We hope that many of our
members will take advantage of this simple yet
golden opportunity to get their friends to come
with them to church!
All PCW churches taking part in
this year's Back to Church Sunday will receive a
free resources pack worth £20 including
invitations, postcards, a DVD and posters to
help promote the event. We'll also send
you an information leaflet and can arrange for
an officer to meet you to help organise the day.
