Our friend from Guatemala - could you extend a welcome?

At the end of June, one of Christian Aid’s workers in Guatemala will visit Wales to see how PCW churches are raising money towards our ¡Viva Guatemala! appeal.

Could you welcome him to your church?

When Anna Jane Evans and Mari Fflur visited Guatemala in 2011 to learn about Christian Aid's work, Reinaldo Plasencia was one of their guides. Reinaldo will in Wales between Sunday 24 and Tuesday 24 June (more than likely) and it would be wonderful if he could visit some of the churches which are supporting the work in Guatemala. Reinaldo speaks fluent English and would be happy to speak about his work in Guatemala.

If your church or pastorate has planned a service or event for the Guatemala Appeal during that time, we want to hear from you! Even if you don’t have anything planned, this could be a good opportunity to organise an event – big or small, formal or informal.
