Katie carries the flame
Date Posted: 30/05/2012A young member from Noddfa Church, Caernarfon, carried the Olympic Torch earlier this week.
Katie Bohana Davies, 12, carried the Torch through Llan Ffestiniog on Monday as part of the Torch relay around Wales.
"Katie comes to the clubs here at Noddfa," said Llinos Morris, Children and Youth Worker at Noddfa, "and she is a very valuable help with the little children's clubs."
"It was brilliant to see her yesterday, and two cars and a 33-seater bus went all the way from Noddfa to Llan Ffestiniog to support her. Katie doesn't like fuss so the whole thing was a big shock to her, especially as all her friends were there - but she did brilliantly and deserved every step."
Well done, Katie, you're an inspiration to us all!
